The King of Cyprus, Peter I brought rum with him as a gift for the royals at the congress of Kraków in the 1300's. This gift exchange sparked the inspiration for the name of this cocktail. This is what I imagine a king's flak would contain. A balance of smoke, sweetness, and spice. A drink made fit for a King.

Yield: 1 drink

2 oz Malahat spiced Rum

0.5 oz Amaretto

0.25 oz Montenegro

0.25 oz Laphroaig 10 year

2 dash Angustura bitters
-
1 red apple slice with sprinkled cinnamon as garnish
Instructions

Build in a mixing glass, ADD ICE AND STIR

Strain into rocks glass over carved ice

Garnish with cinnamon apple slice
